Wayne and Judie's Adventures from Singapore

"Nothing so liberalises a man and expands the kindly instincts that nature put in him as travel and contact with many kind of people," so said American writer Mark Twain. And 'tis true, as the tales inside these pages testify - friendly natives in a foreign land do leave an indelible mark in the heart.

Our Home in Singapore - August 2006

**********************************************************************************************

We live in a 3-bedroom apartment on Hillview Avenue. Our furniture is sparse, but adequate. Being high on a hill, we usually get a lovely breeze blowing through it, which means we don't have to use the air conditioner all the time.

We have a lovely view from our livingroom across the city, and our kitchen overlooks the canopy of the Nature Park below. We wake each morning to the calls of the jungle birds.

Although our kitchen is small, Judie manages to make good use of the limited space. She enjoys using our newly purchased countertop oven, and it comes in handy for making everything from fresh scones on Sunday mornings, to grilled pork chops or chicken enchaladas for dinner.

Our grounds and swimming pool area remind us more of a resort setting than our home.

We love to take our dinner down there to enjoy in the outdoors. A quick dip in our infinity pool cools us down nicely before going to bed.

This is a great place to call home!

Why not come and visit?
