Wayne and Judie's Adventures from Singapore

"Nothing so liberalises a man and expands the kindly instincts that nature put in him as travel and contact with many kind of people," so said American writer Mark Twain. And 'tis true, as the tales inside these pages testify - friendly natives in a foreign land do leave an indelible mark in the heart.

Merry Christmas from Singapore!

*****************************************************

It seems very strange to be anticipating Christmas when the temperature is in the 30's. It certainly won't be a white one.

But the streets are all decorated, and we can feel Christmas in the air.

The "12 Days of Christmas" tree reminds us that Christmas is only 12 days away.

Although some of the decorations are rather "tacky"...

...overall, the downtown is very beautiful.

Travis arrived on the weekend to spend Christmas with us. We're off to Perth Australia for 2 weeks to tour the Margaret River wine region. Then we're going to the beach in Phuket Thailand for 5 days over New Years.

It's the "Gingrich Family Vacation" 2006!

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a happy, healthy 2007!

Do come and visit.

Our address here is:
136A Hillview Avenue
# 05-08 Merawoods
Singapore 669606

We know you have left now for Christmas but do write us when you get back. Looking at this site is marvellous.

I am not sure I understand how this works -I see there are no comments posted but we did send one before. So don't know if you got it.

Merry Christmas.

Lynn and Bill
